Christmas Book Review: Little Star

Author Anthony DeStefano contacted me with the opportunity to review his new children's book, Little Star. He also sent an additional copy to share, which I gave to one of my friend's 3 year old boy on his birthday last month. My husband commented that he was attracted to the appearance of the book right away because of its quality illustrations. The story is the perfect blend of imaginative whimsy and meaningful message that the kids I have read it to have enjoyed very much.

Little Star is a very simple retelling of the Nativity story which focuses on the star of Bethlehem—the smallest star in the heavens—who burns himself out to keep the newborn baby Jesus warm in a Bethlehem stable. The author's goal was to try to encapsulate the whole gospel message in a simple Christmas story, and to do so in a way that all kids could relate to.

This book is available for purchase in time for Christmas. Below is my Amazon.com affiliate link for easy ordering. Enjoy!

AromaTalk Tip of the Week: Dry Eyes

"My husband has a biology background and was totally impressed after learning how the oils work at the cellular level. He was sold on their value and began using them daily. He uses a 50-50 mixture of Frankincense essential oil and carrier oil [grapeseed, extra virgin olive, or jojoba helps the EO penetrate and nourish skin] around his eyes which has alleviated the need for prescription medication for dry eyes."
